Life sure has been wild this year! I've gone from being a mostly SAHM - to a working mom. I'm teaching Zumba several times a week, as well as other fitness classes, in addition to managing LWE. My scrapbook supplies have gathered a nice layer of dust, and my station wagon is cramping my style! Changes, changes everywhere. Some good, some not so good, but overall I think we're doing well.
Isaac is rapidly approaching the end of his Kindergarten year. What a huge growing experience that has been (for all of us). I'm happy to report my panic attacks were all for naught. He's had the most wonderful teacher imaginable. She's taught him so much and pushes him to perform up to his abilities (which we've found to be quite high). He's been reading since October, and comfortably reads at a 2nd grade level. What a remarkable kiddo (course I might be a wee bit biased)!
Eli makes my head spin! He's got to be the most headstrong little one I've encountered! He's going to preschool and child care and doing well for the most part. Occasionally, he'll have an off day when he doesn't get his sticker (the reward for a good day at preschool). He's made great friends at child care and loves getting to have lunch with Daddy while he's there.
So, all rambling aside. I'm feeling a strong desire to get back to some sense of normalcy. Scrapping, blogging, quality time with family and friends. Hopefully this summer will provide us with lots of opportunities to catch up with everyone.
I'm out.
